Checked conditions today & they seem good compared to last week.
I'm going to hit 4 mile early, around 7am Sunday.

You need good wheels to fish this spot, as its a bit of a trek from the hwy 1 parking area.

"The Hill" isn't as bad as Elk (what is?), but it is steep, & not for heavy yaks. Also, from shore out 200' (linear surface distance, not depth) is a no take zone (thanks MPA). As far as I know we can  paddle through the closure as long as no fishing gear is deployed.

Plan to be off the water around 10 or 11, depending on wind conditions.
I'm driving a tan bronco with a red kayak on it.

How did you do in this trip if you went? The condition seemed rough from the forecast. How was it?
