When I get home I'll post the pics, but for a Thursday it beat working!

Me and Erikk54 (welcome to the madness!) met at Mike's Bait at 7:00am and picked up a dozen secret agents.  One drop of InsaneDuane's name to Mike, and we also got complementary pimp hats (i.e., Mike's Bait baseball caps).  Duane, we owe you a beer!

On the water by around 8:00am and it was FAC!  It stayed FAC until about 11:30 when the outgoing tide ramped up, and by 2pm is was insanely windy.  Erikk54 and I were off the water at about 1:00pm.  "Only" about 25 power boats out there today (compared to the report of hundreds from last weekend).

About 9:00am I get a shout on Ch69 from Amphibian and he paddles out with a buddy on a tandem Cobra Tourer with a third buddy solo'ing another yak.  They stayed on the water until about 2pm and definately get the "atta-boy" trophy for sticking out the gale winds for an extra hour...

...but it was worth it, because the rear passenger in Amphibian's yak hooked up a decent ~ 24-inch butt that will make a fine meal.

All day I had two take downs and one scrathed bait (I shuld have kept the stinger on!).  I think Erikk54 had about the same... no joy for us.

...but it beat working!

Like I said, pics to follow...

That spot is producing and a few of the shore guys are starting to pick up some fat stripers too.
Good luck and tight lines.

Sorry for slacking on the pics... the grindstone isn't used to me taking off during the middle of the week to play.

FYI, from Coastside's website, yesterday at the Berkeley flats was WFO...bunch of butts over 25 lbs, and one guy caught a 45 lb'er!  I think I may try there on Monday...

Who would win in a fight, Mr. UFC or the butt? (yes, it's legal... 22.1 inches)

Sounds like Good Times were had for sure.  I enjoyed the report.

I wish our hali's were as active up here right now.  I wanna catch one of those.

Hey BC

Nice report and  pics and sticking with it. Keep on getting out there because the big butts are coming and one has your name on it.
