Got the early start, was just going to hit Brooks Island with lures and squid, then Think, "

why not get down to Berkeley and pick up some Popsicles and meet up with the Boy's @ ARW,"

Get to Berkeley and see the " Pier Buckets " walking out :smt007, " That's for me!!!"

Get down to the Pier and watch the Circus :clown:

Pier Buckets are 2nd class citizens to PB's and the Bait guy is yelling @ everyone, Meanwhile a Seal Breaks through one of the bait bins net and well, he was not giving out 2 scoops anymore as Pier Buckets.

No worries, one is more than enough and my pocket bubble kept a little more than a dozen alive before I was able to transport them to my bait tube and troll bucket,

Decided on ARW because Berkeley was already windy...

Get to ARW, Nice :smt007  Malibu-2 ( I think ) already making out the cove, no contact, no Radio I guess

Good news,  Bait tube did a fantastic job reviving anchovies and lasted all day,

Bad news,  just one scratched bait to show for some of the best presentation I have ever done...

met up with " Tyi " sorry if I screwed that up,  he nailed a 23" on a popsicle, Great Job....
Nice to meet ya again... :smt006

Lots of boats and lots of talk of a scratchy/slow bite,  talk of 4, 8 14 20lb Hali's being taken,

Also 2 undersized White Sea Bass,  that would be Kool..... A legal one that is..36"?   I think....

the only other fish I saw was a Banker on my in from a Howling wind @ 1pm who took a 25"

on a shad colored swimbait,  From the Friggin Shore.... :smt009

Really got this Fishing thing Down,  just seems to be the Catching part I'm lackin @... :smt009

We got there around 6:45, on the water about 7:15. We trolled frozen herring on RSKs below hoochies armed with a treble.

A big sturgeon jumped clear out right in front of us for a few seconds of excitement. I caught a little shaker, about 18".  It took the hoochie. Then I had a few stripped baits, but no more after that. The wind picked up and we were well past the rockwall. We had to push through some gnarly whitecaps to get back.

Early morning, it definitely felt "on," but once the wind came up, we couldn't feel the bottom as well, and it just didn't feel fishy anymore, although other boats were picking up a few. Definitely worth trying again.

May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

I was working the " Flag Pole " and saw you guys in the distance on your way in,

you were not moving too fast :smt002, sorry we did not meet. I drifted with the out go down the the entire wall and Hooked a Banker when I passed the Mouth to the ship yard, bad place to do that,

But, that place was Fishy, the wind came up then and had to be realistic about getting home sometime today, trolled back with a Yozuri with no love but burned a few calories :smt003

and that is when I saw the Banker pick the hali from the shore

Place is Fishy, right place right time , till next time
