For those of you who have not shopped at West Marine....you can get a WM Advantage card = the more you spend, you get some money back at the end of the year (just like REI). THey do have some fishing stuff and some items you can get for your yak as well....marine goop,anchor,GPS, compass,fish finders......FLARE GUNS

That's interesting,  I thought it was illegal for stores to charge regular price and soak up the sales tax themself. They actually have to tack it on.

I certainly don't know the law but I do know OSH does this at least a couple of times a year.

I think what happens is they give everyone an 8.25% discount.
