Hi Yakers:

I would go but, I used up my Free time at work  for MLPA. It's a lot of fun and
you'll feel better for helping others.

"We are currently in need of strong and willing volunteers to help out with our upcoming sailing trips on the following Thursday’s: May 1st (this Thursday!), May 22nd, June 5th, and June 19th.

All sailing trips are from 2:00-4:00 PM (meet at 1:40pm), and are located at Pacific Yachting (the Aldo's side of the Santa Cruz Harbor).  http://www.pacificsail.com/maptown.html

Volunteers will have the very important job of helping participants board the sailboat, and will help to safely transfer non-ambulatory participants onto the boat.

If you think you might be interested in lending two hands for this important job and help make these fun trips possible for our eager participants, please call the Shared Adventures office ASAP at (831) 459-7210 or email [email protected].

Thank you!

The Shared Adventures Crew"

Mendo-
I wish I were closer.  I love the fact you are getting more people into sailboats who may or may not have typical access or the ability to use one.  It is a great experience to out there with out the sound of motors (typically) and cruising on the water.  Is there anything like this closer to Sacramento?  Say Vallejo or benicia?  I used to beer can out of those YC's back before kids.  I have down sized to trailer sailing now but still enjoy and now having kids to teach to sail is a wonderful thing.
