I went Sat. with my son Paul for our first trip to Berkeley Marina. We fished north of the marina in 8 ft of water. I got a 25" butt on live bait (thanks to Paul winning the new Hobie live bait well at the Half Moon Bay shootout).Paul caught a 10lb stripper trolling a chove with dodger.I boated 2 more butts too short to keep. We moved south of the pier for the incoming tide and Paul picked up a 24" butt on live bait. Good to get "newbie" razed from Insaneduan-also saw Kingfisher and 2 other fellow yakers . Can't wait for May 1st for south of pigion rockies!
