I'll be headed to either Leffingwell or hearst state beach and plan on being on the water by 6:30.  Still haven't decided which spot yet, if anyones interested post and we can narrow it down.  Otherwise I'll be monitoring channel 69, if any one wants to hit me up out there., will also be fishing friday at the spot I don't fish thursday.

Looks like a spike in the secondary swell Thurs. morning, they're saying 8+ foot surf from Pismo to Cayucos. Could be a nasty.

I'm not sure where I'm going yet but might see you out there, or I might go in comfort for flatties.

Would like to go but slammed with work.  The swell sitch makes me leary also but this a.m. the surf in Cambria was nothing out of the ordinary.  It didn't look like 8ft to me more like 4ft or less.  The wind backed down from 40 yesterday to 25 today, tomorrow it's North, I'm figuring by Fri or Sat it'll be Northeast & that's when I'm going to hit it.

Good Luck DP,
Look Forward To Your Report.

P.S. Thanks for the recomendation on the Etrex Legend, got one on ebay for $75 looks pretty good.

Heh, yeah, I was getting that from surf-forecast.com. They were obviously having some script problems at their site. This morning the forcast for wave faces was 27.... Meters!
