If anyone is interested in hunting down big bass in the delta, I'm headed out Sunday morning early.  I plan to cover a lot of turf, about 4-6 miles; fishing worms, senkos, and weedless swimbaits in and over the weed pockets.  Hopefully the weather and the winds will be favorable.  The bass bite has been fairly consistent, although slow at times (1-2 bites per hour).

I plan to fish until 2 or 3.

Where you launching from and what time? Don't usually fish the delta because of past PB issues.

Scott,

Kings Marina off Eight Mile Road, on the water by 6:10. PM me for directions if you think you might go...there have been more PBs around lately, but I am finding small channels inside the sloughs where it is not a major issue.  I also may troll for some stripers as I move from one spot to the next.

Hey Bryan

I've been pondering for 2 weeks now, but with this incosistent weather, gas hitting $4, and food prices hiking up 50%+, I've been too hesitant. Maybe I should give it a try this time, maybe... If not, good luck man, have a nice hookup with the crew.
