Guys - that's a rock he's on...  he can't afford a kayak!   :smt009

Any time I start thinking I'd love a less stressful job I think of how stressed out I'd be being broke!   :smt005

Oh darn that is a rock. I thought he was walking on water! lol

Less stress does not always equal less money. Just have to find your place and own balance.

I'd bet he's a civil servant, Parks and Rec Department.  With full Pension, Benefits etc....  I'm sure he can afford a yak or two  :smt001

Mooch...this would be the equivalent of an F&G gig for you brother.  I'm sure you could convince the boss to let you patrol via a kayak.

..........agarcia is just an ex-kayaker

Words of wisdom.  Gotta get me a life coach (when I can afford it!!   :smt005).

The grass (or algae) is always greener...

Those who hold employment in in a profession for which they are passionate AND pays enough to support lifestyles for themselves and their dependents, well what more could one ask for.

I don't know about the pay, but I bet this man DOES love his job AND it may very well support his lifestyle.  Regardless of the pay, I do envy the fact that he works in such a serene environment, where all the components are simple (or at least swim around in apparent harmony).

Not to mention that ripping a 1/0 treble hook on a sliding sinker would be pretty serene but I am pretty sick that way. :smt003

Dear Joel/ Da Mooch from Matt near Mendocino;

You are really genuinely welcome to have a simple calm koi pond here near Mendocino at anytime.

I can't find a girlfriend for you soon, but we could have a little fun hooking up a trailer for you, if you would maybe like to try living near here on the Mendocino Coast.  I guess I sound weird being confidant as a friend but I can tell good people from a long way off.

I don't do NCKA fishing competitions in Elk or Lake Mendocino, so I don't meet a lot of NCKA people. I basically work and swim locally.

My favorite local person in NCKA is Dave/Pescadore.  I hope you maybe get a fishy job with him sometime.

I am basically interested in restoring our streams and rivers for the fish.

I love diving and I hope you like diving too.  Diving is not scary or dangerous if we do it right.

It's very fun.

Anyway, Joel,  I hope to meet you someday, in all due respect.
