Lake Mendo (Kyen) Camping/Fishing 18th and 19th

     I am actually getting there Thursday 17th, then getting up early Friday morning and going turkey hunting with a buddy. Possibly fishing Clear Lake Friday for a bit and returning mid afternoon  to the camp for the remainder of the weekend. Holy Toledo is coming up after work Friday with the dogs, what is camping without the dogs. We are taking four kayaks so there will be a couple spares for drop-ins.
     Hopefully the weather will be less than pleasant after witnessing the crowds last Saturday. There will be room for more tents (not sure what the limit is) if anyone wants to join in. Hope to see you there!   

Try not to catch a four foot striper will 'ya?! Or a two foot smallie for that matter.

Any idea on what the weather is going to be like... or should I say... the wind...? I was thinking about taking Melissa up there for a nice little paddle and hopefully some catching... but, the wind is turning me off a bit. If the winds are down, it'll be a saturday thing for us.

       We are actually hoping and preparing for inclement weather.  I stole my brother's small travel trailer (I must be getting old) in preparation for the "better half" at the CSBA in a couple of weeks. Hope to see others on the Lake.    Hail us on channel 69 if we are not in camp.       Allen
