Launched at Yorty at 0800 and the plan was to troll for Trout in the AM and fish for bass in the afternoon. VERY windy and cold. One small 17 inch Steelie in Cherry Creek and a few Crappie and Sunfish on the Rapala. Threw crank baits and even tried Night Crawlers under a bobber for Bass with no luck. No matter where I went it seemed like I was paddling straight into the stiff wind. Gave up about 1600. Burned a lot of calories and had a fun day at the lake.

That's a SWEET COMBO Day!  Nice pics of the various quarry that will hit a lure in that lake....it looks like FISH should be EVERYWHERE!

Nice report and trout/steelie. I was surprised how windy it was on Saturday. Really made me think about the Hobie advantages.  :smt012
