Had these sent to me by a friend who works for EID. Here is a copy of his email to me and the pictures.

"EID had to drain Caples Lake for emergency repairs to the valves within the dam.  I got the visit the site on Monday.   The attached pictures show the drained lake, plus the alignment of the old road.    This road was submerged 85 years ago when they built the main dam. 

The big black tubes are "bladder dams" which are filled with water to create a temporary dam.

That is F*$# crazy..We have been hunting in that area since I was around 10. Its A damn shame that it is going to take years for that fishery to rebound... Its A damn shame!!! :smt010
