sunday at ARW

Fished arw from 10:00 to about 2:00 on Sunday. It was calm and sunny til about 1:30 when the wind came up and blew me back to the boat ramp. Once again had no success with the halibut. I used frozen anchovy (only one all day) on a 3' leader from a 3 way swivel with a 12 oz weight suspended about a foot from the 3 way. This rig seemed to work OK in that it stayed down near the bottom and didn't get tangled either trolling or drifting, and the bait looked like new every time I checked it. I added a dodger to the leader for some of the trolling time. Anyway, no fish and no bites. Maybe next time.

fishinmike at least your out there giving it your all and when the wind blows that is the direction you want to go........ back to the launch ramp

 I have not tried that 12oz. w/dodger yet....it sounds so HEAVY!
