My uncle flew in from Ireland on Sunday and one of the first things he asked was, "whats biting", so yesterday I loaded up my truck, and took my dad, his freind, my uncle, and my cousin fishing. We stared off catching a couple catfish and one shaker striper. After about three hours we decided to move south, at the new spot we were gettig a few hits but nothing good, while people around us were bringing in catfish left and right. I left and went to the store for clams since that was basically the only bait we didnt have. The clams were the ticket at first, but as it got later the catfish hit anything that we cast out. I had mulitple double hookups no my two rods with single hooks. We left as the sun was going down and the bite was red hot. I lost count at 15 but I am sure I caught well over 20 as did my dad and his freind. My uncle said he got 12 and my cousin was only caught 2 or 3 wich is pretty good since he had not fished many times before. The catfish were not very big and we through the a bunch ones back, but we still kept around 30, maybe 40 for a fish fry tonight. I still have to clean them since I got home after 12 last night, so I will get a count. I have picks on my dads camera, I'll post them when I get a chance.
