paddled out - watched the egrets hanging in the trees, and played in my favorite rip on the outgo. Managed 3 (is that 1 and a half limits?) in my 2 hours, not WFO by any means, but still fun. All were just at or just under keepers- and FAT.   I thought the third one was the first as it was such a bookend, but no hook marks.
PET spoon and x-rap 8 did the trick.

Way to go, you over-limiter!   :smt002  Hey, if you don't have a camera how about a sketch and scan of those egrets?   :smt005

great catch steve! good to know the spring run may be starting.

I think so too, after a year or so of poor spring runs all indications are that this one will be at least better than the last.

and to all-- i do have pictures of one of my stripers, still in camera but will post tomorrow (maybe). As for the egrets- got pictures there too-- but that was a hint as to where i was,  ain't gonna post those you have to figure it out yourselves.

I'm getting grouchy in my old age!
