davenport 7/23

fog at bean hollow, went south. launched davenport.
paddled north. drifted south.

one underling on dead squid.  I didn't even measure it, maybe
20"? I guess that's okay for once decent drift.

then fog came south.  no fishfinder, no compass, no gps, no radio,
all alone, . except for the boats running back to santa cruz.

no sweat tho.  it was easy to see the swell wrapping into the cove.
