Has anyone noticed that diesel is expensive?

We launched at 8am from the Lucerne boat ramp. Only one LMB all morning. Headed toward the winery and switched to Sinkos. We caught 7 more on the Sinkos. I had a nineth one at the yak and he went under, slapped the other side of the yak and spit the hook. They were all about 2-4 lbs. We only saw 4 or 5 PB all day and the water was like glass and very clear. I intentionally left the camera at home because I didn't want to hassle with it on my first serious yak fishing adventure. I will take it next time.

We turned around at 3 pm to come home and the wind picked up instantly. The wind was blowing 90 degrees to us and the water became very rough. I was afraid some of my less secure gear (most of it) was going to be washed away. Waves were coming over the side as we paralleled the shore. We turned toward shore and waves were coming over the bow. I haven't been in the ocean yet so this was the roughest water I have been in. It was a good learning lesson because the weather wasn't just good when we started, it was perfect.

Thanks for the tips Hyrdo.

Thanks for the report....those males seem to be very aggro up there!  good to know they'll hit the Senko.
