Met up with Bryan (HobieBlue), got there about 45 minutes late. Sorry. Beautiful day as soon as we got there and for the rest of the day. Clear skies, barely any breeze, and clear water. Bryan got the first fish. Ben showed up a little later and the three of us headed about a mile up to work some islands. Good thing the boat stopped and talked to Ben and gave him pointers or we wouldnt have tried what we did and got fish! Oh and today I got my first spinnerbait fish! Both of my fish came on the spinnerbait. We ended the day with 4 fish between the three of us. Bryan 1, Ben 1, and me 2. I lost two fish. It was slow but a nice day. Pics below

It was nice to meet Jeff and Ben this weekend.  I only wish we could have found more fish.  Give it two weeks and fish it on the high tide and it'll be better.  Here is a picture of my icebreaker fish today, only a small one.

Also, I was going to go back into Whites slough this evening on the way home, and put in at the old Ferry crossing on the levee.... until I saw this car.  Makes you think twice about leaving your car unattended.

We launched from Tower Park Marina off highway 12, then paddled north to Sycamore Slough.

Well, as of 11:39 the video still works for me, I didn't see anything all that offensive in it, just reminds me of one of my old girlfriends.

I'm lucky enough to have a low value 4wd that I'm keeping just for leaving out in unsavory places.  Gonna keep comprehensive insurance on it, won't cover collisions but will affordably cover vandalism and theft,

Looked like a great day on the water, now all I gotta do is learn to fish,,,,

Here are a couple more pictures.  Sorry they are late.  I had trouble resizing.

Jeff and Bryan with LMB.  My only bass for the whole weekend wasn't picture worthy.  Oh well, I had a good time anyway.

Thanks for the pic Ben.  Next time take a picture of your fish (just hold it real close to the camera to make it look bigger.)  Jeff--I never saw your fish up close...very nice for a $2 spinnerbait at walmart.

I hope we can all get together again soon.  X-squid and shotgun too.

By the way, the bass-n-tubes folks had some nice limits in Whites Slough on Sunday, with a 7 lb toad as the big fish.
