Air temp low 70s water 56/60 visibility murky very little wind.
Launched at 9 or so met kayakjack at the Marina and trolled up the Warm Springs arm where we found Bryan. Fishing was pretty slow couple of smallies one LMB hook up that came off real quick. Not much on the FF after Bryan and Jack left I did a loop by the Dam and had  one drive by and was marking bait schools at 30/50'. Should turn on as soon as the water clears/warms a little. Beautiful day and a lotta miles paddled.

hell, i didnt even know there were drive in sites... are you talking about that resort further up rock pile rd?  its hard to even think of that as camping for lake sonoma!  Yak in sites in yorty arent too bad... close to launch, dump the extra payload and get fishing!

Mike wanted to hit the dam but got a late start and blew it off... it would have been more of the same though.. the water is still too dirty and too cold.  Need one or two weeks of sustained weather were it doesnt get too cold at night.  That should be enough to get the lake to turn.

Matt I hit the dam after and I couldn't get close enough there was a SCS boat watching me so I didn't want to sneak inside the buoy line, I guess they are paranoid of all the Kayak Terrorists reported by Mendo Matt. :smt003 There was a lot of bait there tho.

I fished Yorty creek last Thursday 2/28 water up there is a little clearer, especially in the back ends of the coves. I C&R'ed 2 LMB from back end of Brush Creek. Like you said the waters still too cool and the bass haven't moved up yet. When I came back in the water had dropped 4-5 inches. Not the best conditions murky, cold, and falling water levels, but fun trying to catch em. Another thing about Yorty creek much shorter walk from parking to lunch ramp.
