Had to call in and put the boss on notice......wound up  Clearlake@7:30am with 2doz. minnows? went over the map of places to hit, drop and hook!.....took me 2hrs before I got my first 18"(not AOTY worthy) and couldn't keep them off the hook after that!
Everytime I looked back towards shore, more yaks were arriving and unloading. Terry was like a "proud Papa" showing his firstborn. Thanks bro!
I was lookin for one BIG FEMALE fish that was better than last years...I did not complete that task, but had a yakload of fun trying!
I stuck to the 20-30ft drops away from the HOT BITE shallower waters....ended the day with est: 20 fish between the 16-18" range......those things were fightin tough and pullin hard....just like a real 5lbr. would(i imagine)  :smt013

I could live here for and EXTENDED STAY any day!.....are they open to car-camping in the lot?.....I'll be very quiet.   See the pics and you'll understand my reasoning.

pic1~ Jack "Slammer" and his first Yak-fish!   It is "official" MADNESS now!

pic2~ pic3~ the shoreline at the bar&grill.

pic3~ Fridays crew after a hard days hook settin.....food,beer,stories and laughs!

As soon as one of those big-Fem's show in the shallows?....I'll be up there again!
Too conveinant of a launch to pass up while huntin that lake.

I am thinking about doing something like that soon, if it is possible.  All of these clear lake pictures are making me crazy.  Any campgrounds nearby?

There are sites about 20min NORTH of here. This is Richmond Park Bar&Grill, the camping is@ Clearlake State Park(some sites are along the shore) and there is good tullie and creek fishing there too!
I got a strange feeling this place will be getting plenty of attention from us in the"VERY NEAR FUTURE"..stand by Ben!

Wow... I was expecting just to see Terry and Adam at Clear Lake, but when I get to the Richmond Bar & Grill parking lot, I'm greeted by (izzie and his crew South Bay Crew on Prowlers), then Kicknbass and Mahi arrives.

Rory, his son Kyle, and Jack Slammer where already OTW.  Great to meet you guys.

The weather, the fishing, and company was off-the-hook!

Thanks to Terry for the tour of his fishing paradise, the round of beers, and for letting Adam and I crash at his cool bachelor pad complete with panther coffee table and ongoing kayak projects.  Loved it all... Bro!!!

Here's my tribute to Terry...

... and here's pic of the bar & grill from the water.

Is Richardson's Bar still doing the "grill your own steak" special?  Great place for waterfront eats and drinks.
