I know that they are not necessarily the fish that you will take a trophy pic of, but does anyone have a good pic of a Pacific Sanddab.  I have gone fishing twice when the weather allows, but to no avail.  This, sadly, is my last hope.  Thanks.

Thanks Sailfish,

I have that one, and most of the good ones all my google sleuthing has provided me.  The funny thing is, when I dropped pots for the crab opener this year, I caught three sand dabs. I was stoked and took the home and ate them with the crab.  It is rare that I catch a fish that I do not reference with a good set of detailed photos, but for some reason I did not take pics.  Sure enough I get a project to paint sand dabs and I dont have a reference. :smt091  Oh well, I guess that could be an amendment to Murphys law.

Here is a link to a pic of one I caught last year. I have a few better photos on my laptop at home I think. Will have a look tonight.

1000 apologies, seems I have some photos, but they are all of breaded and fried dab! I now remember thinking that dabs didn't seem very photogenic when first caught; small and infested with isopods. Doesn't seem like there's going to be a chance to get any photo'd this year either, the dabs have forsaken the bay.  :smt009

Kayote,
That is very helpful, and stoked you got a couple little pan fryers for yourself. I may have to go back and make a few changes.  Much appreciated.
