Here's what I had to face when I launched yesterday...TOUGH!

P2260113

My set up for trolling on my Hobie...

P2260114

Not huge but a non skunk day. Caught on a Rappla broken back Tiger

P2260116

13" and I had to unhook my peddle system to bring it in...

P2260119

Most of the fish I saw caught were from the bank on chartruese PB. However, with the new plant I think I may have been a day early for trolling..

I did float some PB to no avail but must admit wasn't in the mood to sit and wait.

Don't know how you made that launch FF... rough one there. :smt003 Although it was one fish it is a quality good looking bugger. Nice color and fins.

BTW, how come you had to pull the mirage drive? Did the line get tangled on it?

Little bugger ran under my yak when I got him to it and of course right into the peddle system. Thank goodness it was an easy fix with two twist,a pull of the Mirage drive and fish landed. I feel fortunite it didn't come unbuttoned.

Frank, were you at the top of the ramp, or is there another railing that continues upward?

That is how high the water is right now. That is the launch.

WTG Frank - 14 or 24" wath's the difference when it is in the frying pan. BTW, small trout taste better than the big finless mutants. scott
