You Tube

 I have tried several times to get this thing going and nothing.

 I have a You Tube account, but when I try to upload........Nada

 I think I need to resize the video clips, but can't figure it out.

What am I doing wrong?

 I'm tring to send family clips over seas and this is very frustrating

What size is your file, how long is it, what type of file are trying to upload?  You want to make sure that you're uploading a MPG, MOV, AVI, or WMV file that is less than 10 mins long and less than 100 mb in size.  Beyond that there are some ways to make your video quality better, but it sounds like you need to work on simple uploads first.

There's also a youTube uploader program for Windows computers but I've never tried it.

Brian's advice sounds very good.  I started with little clips and it was no prob.  Then last night I got shut down on a long one.  I'll be watching that 10 minute/100 MB thing from now on...   

The clips are small, used the pentax optio and just uploaded it to my computer just like I upload

 photos.  Thanks for the links,  and I'll give it another try... Thanks
