I picked up some tray herring yesterday that I can share with you Dave... I'm also going to get grass shrimp from Laine's on Saturday morning, or ghost and grass from Mike's if he has that (and if he opens early).

Anybody know what time Mike's opens?  Laine's opens at 5am on Sundays...

Keep a eye on the wind Fellas..

Just took the doggie down to Point Isable, and it was blowing like a Mother @ 9am

Thanks for the warning ... so far the wind forcast for Saturday is very good!

OK guys get your bait on Friday it is to much trouble to get it the morning of.
As for the herring, I have Lott's of that' what you want is shrimp of some kind, ghost would
be best but I have seen sturgeon caught on all kinds of bait so if you cant
find it then don't worry to much. and as for bait go's I have what I need. :smt004

Now this will be a Early launch, I will be at the spot at 600am O dark
with Doug & frank you don't need to be there at this time it will be a good tide
for a good 5 hours so don't trip on that early time if you can't make it :smt001

good luck to all and I will see you on the water

ch 68-69  :smt006

Hey Duane, are you going to repeat the 3+ mile trek out to "the hole"? I think I will probably hold down the ferry area. I will be hitting bait shops today to get what I can.

BigDog & I are meeting at the launch at the crack of 8:00am and should be on da water shortly thereafter... I'll have herring and grass shrimp and BigDog will have ghost shrimp and scotch, so all our bases should be covered.  We give a shout on the radio once we hit the water...
