Frank, Duane, John and Mike, nice to hook up with you guys on the water. Too bad the fish didn't want to play our game. But, thats fishin'.

I am probably going to be out there again this weekend seeing as the tides are going to be so good.

Had fun on my first Sturgeon trip, thought I would join the guys to the hot spot I thought it was just a mile or so out rrrrrrrrrrright I thing it was about 3.5 miles out I had a hard time seeing land but not to worry I was in good hands. I fished with roe/ shrimp combo and or just shrimp with know first timer love, weather was good got a little choppy at the end but not bad at all. Insaneduane that’s a perfect name for you my friend, you are a paddling machine nice to have met you, Frank and Adam always a pleaser fishing with you guys. Would like to try china camp next let me know when and I will be there. Hear are a couple of photos.

Wow... great pics all around.  The water was beautiful just about everywhere this weekend.  Fishing, on the other hand, was just so.. so... unless you went to Clear Lake and fished with the Spiderman.

Well, I didn't catch anything either, I think I was the last to launch and stayed in the area from the launch to a little ways past the ferry dock. It was great to meet some of you guys, though I missed most of the group that went out to the fleet, you all were power paddling up towards the ferry dock just as I was leaving. I had a little confusion getting all my gear together as this was my first expedition with my new boat. But once I got out on the water, I was happy with everything. Except the behavior of the fish. Maybe next time...
