I caught 5 shakers today about a mile out from Pedro Point. Everyone else seemed to be catching a lot of shakers, too...Trolling a WM Apex at 18-30 pulls...

Hey Andrew "Malibu_Two".  It was nice meeting you at Linda Mar today.  I met your brother in the parking lot.  He was diving and saw an estimated 25#  halibut just past the surf break.   He said he would have got it with a spear gun, but he only had his Hawaiian sling and it took off before it got in range.

Looks like some PBers got into them near the Pacifica Pier

From Coastside:

I was invited to go fishing with the twins-Gary & Jeff Gee on the C-Gull party boat out of Emeryville. I'll be brief: started at Middlegrounds, went to Dux and ended in front of the Pacifica Pier. I saw Fishing Luhr way inside along the beach, Hollywood was there, Salty Lady, Wacky, ElDorado, Seeker. Our biggie was around 25# and limits for 17. mix sizes from shakers, dinks to large. I had a good day. I used all junk today: coyote spoon, andy reeker, wm spoon. fish were shallow @ 25' on the lead ball.

I got a call tonight with today's report.
Good fishing in 65 feet, 25 feet down on the troll.  In between Pedro Pt and the Pier.  Fish were decent, smallest at 10lbs up to 15.  5 or 6 shakers to get a 4 fish limit, then they got some rockfish.

Hope you guys get them.  I'm grounded till the 30th.

Stuart
