Delta skunk 2/6

Hit up Mildred Island after work hoping to enjoy the decent weather day, but as soon as I saw the water, I knew it would not be too good. Spent about an hour on the water and then decided to call it quits. It was nice to get out and paddle around. Threw dark jigs and some plastics. But no hits, nothing. The wind didn't really cooperate either. I'd say water clarity maybe 8 inches at the most. Very dirty water. This is my second skunk here in my 2 years of fishing this area. Im kind of bummed. My 1st skunk just came 3 weeks ago. But water was a lot clearer then. Here is some pics.

At least you gave it a go.  I've got the bass itch and was hoping to hit some of my old delta spots this weekend.  Maybe 8 mile rd area will be a little clearer, probably just wishful thinking though.  In a month it will be on!

Yeah that's how Im getting too, havent had a bass on my line since Mid November.
