New Anchor Buoy-Goofy Lookin'

What part do you hold when reeling in?

I lay the foam part across my lap so the rest of it hangs over the side of the yak. The anchor drops straight down and the reel handle doesn't get in the way.
When I retrieve the line I lay the buoy between my legs and pull all the line up and over the other side of the yak. I then lay the buoy on my lap as before and reel in the line. It comes in so fast and clean it is amazing.
