My very first fishing pics - from Alaska circa 1956! Picture #1 - Someone loaned me fly rod to mess around in the river - really fast water! Picture #2 - A 'humpy' salmon somewhere near Homer - everyone was using BIG ASS Treble hooks and just rakin through the fish that were in there like cord wood - even a 9 year old could connect. Note my older bro's leather motor cycle jacket - that's the 50's man! Later on he went down stream and just started shooting fish in the head with my dad's 45 cal Army issue  hand gun! Those were the days!
