I’ll be fishing Del Valle on Thursday, 17 Jan.  I plan to be on the water by 10 to let the fog can burn off.  I’ll be on ch. 69

Awwww... Thursdays are the worst day for me so regrettably I can't join you. Besides, you'd probably just give me the finger if I did!  :smt002 :smt005

I, like Janice, wish I could join you Thursday but this little thing called work is getting in the way. :smt011   Knock 'em dead Grizz!

What are you doing Sunday?  Trying to gather up a crew for DV.  So far it is myself and Janice, I think.  Company welcome! :smt003

Janice,

Good one, My wife is looking at me like I’m nuts ‘cause I’m sitting here laughing and typing. :laughing6:  You should see it now, half the nail is gone, but from the cuticle end.  Tender!

Michael,
The bride works (someone has to) so I like to be at home on weekends.  Besides, this is a holiday weekend and the PBrs may be out in force.

Good luck to you all.  I’ll let you know how I did so you can either do what I did or not do what I did, depending on how I did.  Wha?

Chuck

Where can I get me one of them? :smt005  :smt044   In fact, my wife is the bread winner in our house! :smt003  :smt012

I spend a lot fewer WAF points when I fish on weekdays.  I got a years supply of WAF points a week ago.  Drove down to Monterey Bay for our 12th, stayed a few nights at the Seven Gables Inn with a beautiful view from our room overlooking the bay, a day at the Aquarium, dinners at the Whaling Station and the Chowder House, bought her a topaz pendant at the Cannery that she loved, sunset walk on the beach.  So when I said I would like to go fishing Thursday, she had no objections.

You want to write a book on this for me Grizz!  You da man.  Kids, if any, must be out of the house?

Good luck Thursday.

Two out and one (19 yr old) to go, but he works full time, pays his own way, does his own laundry, and stays out of trouble and helps when asked.  There are some of the advantages of being old and retired. :kick
