I walked back to my truck for lunch and there was A gold toyota 4 runner with A NCKA sticker on A dent in the rear bumper.how did you shoot?blind or F.R.?

Hey Sunny.  Excellent observation.  That was my 4runner.  Stuart was with me.

Stuart had a reservation and we were expecting an awesome shoot with the storms, but we were completely wrong.  Nothing but high flying snow geese and lots of spoonies that we passed on.  Sadly, we only took home one teal between us.

We opted to free-roam.  According to the stats, it was poor hunting all weekend.  Stuart thinks the storms pushed the birds into the rice fields.  Guys who hunted nearby clubs on Friday slaughtered the geese and ducks on Friday when the storm first blew in.

How did you guys do?

it was so so on sat and dead on sunday.sat.I ended with A spoon and two cinnamon teal A green wing and A drake mallard.there were birds working us hard after that 30 minutes of rain then nothing.

we were parked on the other side of the dumpster from you,I have the old toyota 4x4 with the 4 wheel pop up camper.
