Why do you post in more than one forum? You're splitting up any responses.

FYI: I found the picture quality to be rather poor. Resolution was beyond grainy and looks as if they were taken from elsewhere. A red line is seen through more than one of them.

A simple page template could promote a more professional feel. I think my 11y/o daughter could throw together a better looking site. No offense.

Its not that bad. If I was looking for a tour company I would think this one looked pretty good. I like the plethora of colors in the pics, it makes the viewer feel very " island-y".
My criticisms are:
1. Some of the photos are so stretched that they don't look very good.
2. Better spell check everything on there. I see that on the "safety & preparation" button preparation is misspelled. Just a typo I know, but misspellings scream unprofessional to me.

just my $.02
It looks like you are having fun out there BD!

I may have poked a jab at my buddy GP, but I do have to agree with him. Of course I have to put in the mandatory "No offense" also :smt003

The pictures are all pretty grainy which makes me think that you may have taken them from somewhere else so I'd question whether or not I'd really see any whales jumping if I booked a whale watching tour.

I also agree that making the pages more consistent would make a big difference. When you click on one menu button and you go to a different page the menu button list isn't the same and so I get lost....of course I would also get rid of the buttons.

The "Coastal Kayak Tours" at the top of the page should probably be text, not an image.  Making it text will allow you to easily give it some style and if you ever decide to change the color scheme you wont have to make changes to your logo/text.

The sites color scheme itself is also pretty played out, get some color going on in there...you're in Hawaii where things are vibrant and colorful.

The site has lots of pics but very little text.  I like to see pics of someone having a good time hanging with the fellas or catching fish just as much as anyone else does but I also like to read some text about it...sometimes a picture isn't worth a thousand words.

Despite these things it's really not anywhere near the worst site I've seen but if it's your business and it's going to represent who you are I'd try to have a professional work on it for you when you have the budget.

Thanks for the reply guys and all the honesty. this is my second attempt at a web site and if you saw the first one i guess you would all be appalled. it was hard making the pictures fit the way we wanted with out taking up lots of room. some of the pics are mine, some from friends, and some off the web. all are from hawaii.
The whales are definitely in and i had one almost surface right under my kayak yesterday. it came up for air and then tailed about 5 feet away from me. there were so many whales close by i could here them sing from above the water. I was scared. one of these days i fear one will breach and land right on me. everything in the site is genuine and all the things you see in the pictures you will see with us. the big thing here is the whales right now until june and we have turtles all year long. lots of dolphins in the summer. we can actually get out and swim with dolphins.
I wish i could really display the beauty of what we see daily in our web site. i promise it will get better. and i am sure your 11 your daughter could do better. they didint even have good computers till i was long done with school. I am a much better paddler and angler then a desk guy. you will see my best work in the field
thanks for the feedback and honesty. i will work harder on it.

Boogie-D, don't take it too hard. This web stuff is an uphill slog for us geezers.  :smt001

And it's tough to be compared with professionally produced sites $$$$ - but those slick tour outfits are your competition. I think the guys here did well by you.

Fish on!

Who's that handsome guy in the green shirt, 3rd from the left standing up?

Logo?  Something with an AI in it of course.
