So I made a new sturgeon snare after finely finding a line tightener, you were right
EK, they did have it at home crapo you just have to tell them your are looking for a cloths line tightener and they point right too it  :smt005 thank's bro :smt001

So after watching my last snare sink too the botton one careless day, I thought
this one should be floating, as you can see from the pics I cutout floats with
a holesaw and slid them over the line then slid them into the tube it worked
out great. I used the good PVC on this one because it wont be getting lost
as easy as the last one :smt013

thanks again EK  :smt006

Atta boy... I knew you couldn't just build it by the book... you always find some improvement.  Nice work.

You think that is bad I was thinking of making an automatic snare, as you can see
from the pics I have 2 ideas in mind but I don't think I will try to build them  :smt012

The first one works like those race cars you had when you were a kid, where
you had this plastic pull thing where you pulled it as hard as you can then set the
car on the ground and it took off like a rocket I think they where called zip cars?

It would work something like that you just pull the trigger and it will cinch up on it's
own with a spring loaded gear or something I thought you could just wind it up
and your ready to go  :smt007 but what ever to much of a pain to make  :smt013

the other one I know could make but what the hell if you cant get a regular
snare on a sturgeon then you should just give up  :smt044

Hey, I think that spring winder one has some definite possibilities, a one hand one button tightening of the snare has to be a good thing.
