Baby Bay Halibut Die Off

 It Looks as though my new found Halibut Nursery was part of the Collateral Damage from the oil spill.

 I was talking to a Good Source @ The Oakland Outdoor Pro shop and he informed me that..

  " A lot of Baby Halibutt were found dead on the shores of Point Pinole... "

 Ya, oil floats but there was other Bad stuff in that crap too and it went to the bottom...

 That totally Sucks!!!  This nursery was a nice Silver Lining in the Bay and Wham-mo!!!!!

 JackAsses Screwed it up,....

 Finally saw a clean up crew today out @ Point Isabel, which is nice, but Man....

 Bummed..........

  It will be a While before I can spend $$$$ post the Islander trip....No Regrets.... ..... Danglin

This year there were a lot of shaker Halibuts in the Berkeley and ARW areas.  I wonder if they survived?  This is really going to impact us next year.  I think it's time to hit Bean Hollow.  Just when I finally got the halibut fishing dialed in for the SF Bay, an oil spill occurs!
