The fishing was good over the weekend.  The bass bite was slow, but the catfish bite was on.  There was a school of shad (not sure of the spelling) in one of the first coves were hwy 20 meets the lake in the Oaks.  All you had to do was drop your line and pull up and you had your live bait.  We fished from about noon to 5pm Thursday and Friday.  Here are the totals:

Catfish: 14 - The biggest was caught by my bro and it was between 12 & 15 lbs.

Bass:  1 - Was between 3 & 5 lbs.

Loons (not sure what they are really called, but they are birds):  4 They would dive and take your bait along with the hook. 

Seagull:  1
