Got on the water about 7 AM and met up with Ark a bit later.  Was real slow fishing.  Only got one small large mouth and a undersized striper.  Was a nice day though.  Not as cold as I anticipated and little wind.  Saw AlsHobieOutback and he said he caught two 2-3 pound trout earlier, he had no luck with the stripers by the time I left.  Ark left early and I was off the water by 1PM.

Met Courtney and his friend kayak fishing.  He's new to the area from Georgia.  He'd talked with Mooch at Aquan and new about NCKA.  He was thinking about going out crabbing in the near future and I suggested that he hook up with someone with some experience since he's not been out on our coastal water yet.

Was slow at Del Valle on 11/25.  A buddy of mine and I fished for a couple hours casting spinners along the rocky side of the lake near the landing.  Neither of us had a bite.  It was my first day fishing since moving to California, and I don't know how to best target trout and stripers.  Luckily I met Marmite and gleaned some good advice.  Better luck next time.

Doug -

Sorry it was slow for you too. The late afternoon seems better. Will probably be heading back this weekend for some fly fishing practice. Let me know if you want to hookup.
