If anyone is interested, I'll be doing a seminar Sunday 12/9 at 11am at the Monterey Bay Kayak store at Moss Landing.  I have some pictures to project and cover basics of safety, rigging, and fishing techniques  for the salt. Treats wil be provied by MBK and I think they may raffle off some gear as well.

if you have any friends or family that are thinking about getting started in Kayak fishig, this might be enjoyable, and Plenty of room timewise to shoot the breeze.

I will bring the Howard McKim 20-minute "Day at the Office" video as well (Salmon shark Adventure)

Hi Allen, Sorry I'll have to miss this one too.I wish the scheduling would have been better, but I've worked the last six days for MBK and need a day off.Looks like a fun seminar though. :smt006

p.s.The extension chords and kayak stands/saw horses are in the office and ready to go.

Attended the seminar at MBK Moss Landing with my two sons today. What a good job SCallen does at these events. Eventhough I'm somewhat experienced in kayak fishing I enjoy the camaraderie and learning something new. Enjoyed the photos of Bean Hollow, other northern fishing areas, and the different rigging techniques. We hope to venture out a little more next year.

If you are new to this sport or just want a tuneup I highly recommend attending one of SCallens seminars in the near future. Those who missed out on this one, that's OK. I ate your share of the smoked salmon and other tasty snacks :smt003

Dabs are next on the list. Red Tide clearing out in Monterey Bay. See you on the water soon. Thanks again SCallen - Ben

thanks for being there, Ben.  We'll do another one for MBK sometime in March, I think.
