If I can stay a bit ahead on my packing, I'm planning on hitting Lake Sonoma one last time. I'll be targeting landlocked steelhead near the dam early Sunday morning, company welcome.

so Hey Brian, you still wanna go lake Sonoma this Sunday, like what time?
I think many people are still going to Paradise.  Paradise is actually closer, but the gate won't open until 9am, I think... :smt012
Let me know if you still wanna do lake Sonoma & I probably can pick some minnows up from the Petaluma's dive shop tomorrow on the way back to Bodega.

I don't have a lot of time Sunday morning to fish, so waiting for a 9 am start is going to kill at least two hours of fishing time for me.  That and the fast tide doesn't sound like it's going to be that fun.  I know you still need an AOTY halibut, so feel free to hit Paradise again.  I however also still need an AOTY trout and my wife prefers trout to mercury laden halibut anyway.

BTW, since when is Paradise Beach closer to us than Lake Sonoma? You got a helicopter or something I don't know about.

My house -> Lake Sonoma Visitor Center = 36.6 miles
Your house -> Lake Sonoma Vistor Center = 47.2 miles
vs
My house -> Paradise Beach = 60.1 miles
Your house -> Paradise Beach = 62.6 miles

Sunrise is about 7 am so I plan to be there at least a half hour before that and will be fishing until 11am or so.

ok Brian,
from my house to lake Sonoma appx 54 miles = 1 hr 10 mins
from my house to Paradise park appx 63 miles = 1 hr 19 mins
however, I never made to lake Sonoma boat ramp by the Dam w/ in an hour & half...
& when we went to the Paradise we made around an hour & half w/ lil traffic.
lake Sonoma boat ramp is pretty far from their parking lot & has PB traffic (might not right now)...
Paradise park same but they're prettier walk down to the ramp & have WATER FACET w/ hose on the boat ramp!!!
lake Sonoma we'll catch something, but
Paradise might not catch anything or very slight of chance catch SALMON (according to Isda)... :smt012

enough to say, but of course I'll go w/ you to Lake Somona! :smt006
meet you there or meet you at your house?
how about the minnows, you want me get some?
Let me know!

Minnows would be good.  What's Jim up for? Seriously though, if you really want to go to Paradise you should.

While I'd love to save the gas and carpool, I should probably just meet you there as I may need to take off early to get back to packing.

Make sure to target some fish you won't be able to get up here before you move. I made that mistake.. I should have made a few more trips for stripers before I left. :smt012

What time are you going to lunch?
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

I'll probably fish until 11am or so and grab lunch somewhere on the way back.   Are you planning on being around MickFish?
