I'll be launching at the coast guard pier tomorrow, 6/8, aiming for sunrise. Company welcome. I'll be hitting the red can first thing for squid, but this time just enough for bait, and maybe an appetizer, then spending actual time on butts and lings. I've been successful with squid the past month already, but no butts or lings lately. I'm going to change that tomorrow. See you out there!

Jack squat! Ain’t no fish in Monterey… Except for a few huge mackerel, I was basically skunked. Zero squid, zero halibut, zero lingcod. I tossed back one small copper rockfish that took a sand dab. I guess I’m stubborn because I’m going back at it again tomorrow morning.

I like the persistence! Guessing you’re staying in the area. Veterans park is a legit campgrounds close by. To bad no fire pits though.

I too am stubborn, as I plan to try SC again tomorrow, in spite of limited success in recent attempts...
