DIY Squid Jig - Success or failure??

I thought I could make something better than the cheap POS squid jig 4pk from Amazon, and maybe even better than the Ahi/Promar brand. I spent about $50 on supplies only to discover that squid liked the Ahi/Promar jig better than my homemade one. Oh well. I am going to disassemble the jigs I made and try again, simpler this time. Hopefully version 2.0 works better.

It looks like it should work---bummer that the squid didn't like it better...

I had some thoughts about the more-glow-the-better theory, but I posted right in your channel as I imagine direct comments there may help drive traffic. 

I think it's cool you got to try them head to head and posted results.
