My junks not fit for that trail still doing the shakedown on the public roads, perhaps eventually. Are you going to do any fishing as you pass through?

Really nice time of year to be up there!

Cool spot, looks really pretty up there.  Thanks for the pics! (Edit to add that your pics are in the other thread, haha)

I used to do a little rock crawling/offroading.  Had a Samurai on 33s, ultra low range transfer case, welded diffs, and some power mods to give it a little oomph.  Lived in WA state on the coast where we could drive on the beach - was the perfect rig for that.  Had TONS of old logging roads and skid trails to go wheel around on.  I really miss that little rig, and would love to have another one like it and go adventuring.  Some day.

Sammi's are legend built to todays standards.
You should look at it on the net.
Buying a mostly built rig gets you in way beyond the build cost.

Yeah, they are great rigs. I've have 3, but two were mostly stock. They make a really fun around town rig, if it's not too hot or cold out.

I'd really like to do a beach cruiser build - small lift, wide balloon-y tires, shiny wheels, bright color 2 tone paint job, bikini top.
