Notorious custom jigs. The hotdog.

I’m having crazy results with this humble tube bait.   

I’m asking if anyone has pressed any other jig head into the tube other than the one they sell?  It’s such a tight fit.  At home I spritz w Pam cooking spray, ha.  On the water, I have no shot. 

Thoughts?    I might hit the bodega tackle shop and suss it out.
