Windy (red icon) vs Windy.app (blue icon) subscription

Does anyone have any perspectives on which paid app is better, Windy (red icon) vs Windy.app (blue icon)?
I just realized they were different companies! I bought Windy.app (blue icon) thinking it was Windy (red icon), and was curious if Windy (red icon) is better, and if I should change subscriptions.

Just from what I've seen online, red is the original and generally seems to be regarded as better. I also noticed that PredictWind is very highly rated, so I might give that one a try...
