Good luck up there! This is the time of year for Pope.
Please let us know how you do.

I may hit up somewhere closer i.e. San Pablo reservoir.

Chabot was good today. Kinda slow bite, but weather was really nice.  I saw plenty of fish, but only took one nice Lassen home. They recently stocked Lightning and Lassen rainbows - they were schooled together in the cove by Raccoon point today. Lightning trout are really cool looking when they patrol the surface.

Berryessa at Pope sucked today. Foggy and cold until about 10:30, then nice. Zero bites. Trolled 2 Flickershad colors, Quickfish, little Cleo spoon, chartreuse Kokanee spinner and a soft plastic with wiggle disk. Marked fish here and there but no takers. 2nd skunk in a row there. Will wait till April or at least till Big Nate starts scoring quick limits before going back. Lake is about 3’ from overflowing with storms coming.

How did you do?  I have only been to Lake Berryessa once.  I am thinking about making another trip over there.  Are there any restrictions due to the Golden Mussel?

I skunked, but it should get better pretty soon. No restrictions if you are non-motorized and don't trailer-launch. I usually bank launch for free, although it can be a bit more work. Lake is full.
