Finally going to bite the bullet (with the Boss Ladies permission of course) and buy a suit. Dose anyone out there have a extra suit they are not using? I'm 5'11' and skinny as a Telephone pole so thinking a Medium should fit. Just checking here first before I hit the retail stores.

After watching some encouraging Youtube reviews (River Kings channel) about China-made dry suit, I pulled the trigger on a one-piece dry suit from AliExpress for $200. Tested in my swimming pool and are very happy with it. The only downside is too tight around the neck but that can be stretched. If you are on budget or hardly use it like me, worth looking into it.

I know there are defects in all products, but we hope that when we need it to work, that it will work as intended.  That being said, safety and immersion gear is something I would not buy off Aliexpress or Temu.  It works until it doesn't, more often than not. :smt044.  Not the place to cut corners IMO.

I agree.

I’m a big fan of Kokatat, and I regularly send my suit in for maintenance. In addition to patching pinhole leaks and replacing torn gaskets, they are very good about dealing with any other issues that arise. Under warranty, they once replaced a zipper, and twice have replaced the entire suit (due to delamination). In each of those 3 warranty cases, I did not realize that there was any problem. Yes, there prices are high, but in the long run, well worth it.

Also, I’d recommend a drysuit over a semi-drysuit. I’ve got both, and after wearing the drysuit, a semi-drysuit seems like a toy.

I love my Mustang Survival CCS Hudson. Latex free and very comfortable neck gasket. Very durable fabric as well. I have 20% discount code if you need it.
