I figure its time to give Sherman Island a go. So Shootswell and I are going on Friday to test the waters. We will be launching at the Sherman Island ramp around 7ish. Company is always welcome. Will be monitoring channel 69.

What are you fishing for?  Striper?  I would like to go, but I am working Friday.  I am thinking about going out on the delta (not sure where yet) on Saturday.  I have only been out there once @ Delta Meadows.

You might've already seen that there's a report on coastside about a hot striper bite going on there

I don't even know where that is

Fall and winter are the best times to fish the delta region wind wise. We tend not to get any 'delta breezes'. If there is an onshore flow, there'll be wind, but not the everyday wind like spring and summer.
