Did anyone make it out to HMB today? I wanted to go but that last time I tried it under those conditions it was pretty sporty. I’m just curious how the water was.

Yesterday was open day, i went to hmb around 160ft deep Saturday, its productive, every hoop pull there was 4-5 legal size crab. After landing, found someone at <69ft deep was not that good

Congrats on the dungies. What were the water conditions like? Was it rough near the jaws?

I think my C-Map is showing meters even though I tried to set it to feet, but still that’s out there! And a lot of line!

Those readings are in fathoms.  You can be in 150 feet 3 miles west of the green can.

I chatted briefly with Mr. X, and he said he was about 5 miles out. In any case, very impressive!

For Mr. X, 5 miles out is a walk in the park. I may do a 10 mile day, but I never want to be more than a couple miles from shore.

Does anyone have a report on what the water conditions were in the vicinity of the jaws?
