I’m a disabled combat veteran. My emotional support dog died last year and I am finally ready to find a new puppy to train to be a PTSD support animal. Besides my last dog, all I’ve ever owned were labs. My ideal dog would be a smaller female Labrador retriever, color doesn’t matter. I’d also prefer a younger puppy so I can start my own training from the get-go. If you are a breeder, or know a good one, please let me know.

Sorry to hear about your dog - always tough to lose a pup.  Have you heard of Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue?  My wife gets their notifications on Facebook - they have a pretty fast turnover for bringing labs in and getting them into homes.  They get puppies pretty regularly too.

Have you heard of Canine Companions? They provide service dogs for a variety of things including PTSD.
