Lake Chabot Sat. 10/19

Weather permitting, I am going to Chabot Sat. afternoon.  I get off work in Oakland around noon, and will be heading straight over there.  I have never been to Chabot on the kayak.  I used to fish from the bank when I first moved to the bay area.  I am looking forward to finding some good spots from the kayak.  I don't think the water fluctuates as much as Del Valle, so maybe the bass will be biting.  If not, maybe I can catch a couple trout. 

I went last Sunday and got turned away at the gate...  full!!!  But that was around 3:00pm, (slept in, lazy day).

Holy Cow....you might have just beat Brian G's (da guy from Lodi  )  record for sleeping in 

Hey, I was ready to go at the crack of Noon, but my brother was slowing me down...

3pm is nothing! Just gotta get in to some of the lakes before they close at 10PM. 

That is why I always do so good night fishing on the lakes.

Cooler temps in the summer, no wakeboards...etc
