I've still got a little ways to go on project mainsail, as it's been more time-consuming than expected. I'll post more details when it's done and tested.

This video shows the process of sewing one of the more difficult parts. It's tricky because I try not to crease the dacron sailcloth, as that will weaken it, and my space is limited...

Ha ha! My wife says that I should add some blue and see if IKEA will sponsor me...

Sadly, I've still not yet had a chance to test it out. I cut it to a slightly different shape (for one thing, more head room, so it won't slap into my hat), and am really curious how well it will perform. Hoping to get a chance to test it this week...
